When I give God my earnest plea for something for which my
heart yearns, and then dedicate that which I yearn for to Him, He will bless me
over and over. (I Samuel 1:11,22). When He sees my sacrifice to Him, when He
sees my humility, He is pleased, because He knows that this what I am yearning
for I would not give up for any reason unless I loved Him more than the object
of my heart He see my heartfelt best.
Who I give control to determines God’s pleasure in me. Who I
dedicate myself to determines perhaps not how I live in this life (i.e., rich
or poor, warm house or cardboard box) but my life with Him forever.
(Deuteronomy 20:5)Who I praise for my victories determines this as well. (Psalm
30:1)
