Teach me that I might teach (part 3)

The Lord is more interested in that we show the good when we speak the good. That we hate what He hates. (Zechariah 8:17). Fasting and feasting during times of Zecariah (Zechariah 8:19) demonstraed the joy and love of God and of abhoring what He abhors and doing good and sharing His love. In that way Jesus taught and is teaching me so that I may teach others and engrain in myself to love everyone like myself and love God with all my heart, soul mind and body. (Matther 22:37) and that way follow His blest command. Also in doing that I can learn to love my enemies, (Luke 6:27) because that is how we become like God, by walking and loving as He does, not as the world does. And that isn't easy. Otherwise Christ would not have said in Luke 6:32 “For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.” The ultimate in agape love, unconditional and godly, is the love described by Christ to love our enemies and give without expecting returen (Luke 6:35. That means not just donations, because those returns are not expected regularly, although a lot of us take that off our income tax. No He is referring to lending money to a friend and then expecting repayment from that friend, or complimenting a friend and expecting a complement in return. In fact it is following the blest command that Jesus spoke of in Luke 10:27, love God with everything we've got, heart, mind, soul, and body and then love everyone as ourselves. If you do one the other follows because as John says, you can't love God and not love everyone else.(1 John 2:9,10)
