And isn't it
great knowing that as believers we have a family we can count on and
can be friends with? I have a great family, sisters that unpacked me
when I moved, brothers that come help me change light bulbs too high
for me to reach. Thanks be to God for His many blessings of
fellowship through His great grace! (2Corinthians 13:14) And thanks
be to Jesus who will direct all of our hearts! (2 Thessalonians 3:5).
Through Jesus and His disciples we know that the way we as believers
show God love is to obey His commandments (1 John 5:3), which are
only two commandments to love God with all our whole hearts, minds,
body and soul and to love our neighbors as ourselves. This is why
John says the commandments are not burdensome. And He will be
merciful with us if we do this. (Jude 2:1). Not only this but we can
be an encouragement to one another by our faith and love, walking and
living in Christ. (Philemon 5,7).
We as humans are gifted with the fact that we are so short sighted and are seldom not in awe when things happen to us that may be out of the ordinary routine, whether for good or bad. Blind sided though we are we also demonstrate remarkable resiliance. I am part of that resiliance and am here to help, through my writings and through discussions with the reader. So sit back, buckle your seat belts, and enjoy the ride.

I have a dream...(blessed be the believers)
Oh, I love being
called His daughter and can share that with others who are also
called His sons and daughters. I love being in His family, even when
things don't always rock along smoothly, because God loved us so much
He sent His Son so that we would know how to mend the broken pieces.
The world doesn't know the kind of love God has for it. It's a
special unique existence. (1 John 3:1) And so God tells us to love
one another because that is the only way we know God, because if we
truly love one another then God is our Father. For God is love. (1
John 4:7) And that sets us apart from those that don't love the
brethren. (1 John 4:8) And it is a godly love when we love and treat
the world with God's love, because before we loved Him, He loved us.
(1 John 4:10).

I am the Lord Your God
God is so wonderful and ever replenishing, ever nurturing as in Song
of Solomon 7:2. He amazes me that He would be so full and
overflowing and yet never empties and is there for all of us to
drink and eat and be nourished. He is awesome.

I have a dream... blessed are the believers
And Paul never
failed to encourage individuals to treat each other as Christ would,
because we are in him, as he does in Philemon 9. Even from prison,
Paul could reach everyone and preach His love. He never forgot
people's work for Christ, calling it a labor of love. (Hebrews 6:10),
nor did he ever forget to remind people to continue this labor of
love with each other and in the body (Hebrews 10:24 and Hebrews
13:1). Peter in 1 Peter 1:22 reiterates this sentiment, that all
Christians should maintain faith in the Spirit by practicing the
labors of love within the body and in purity of Christ Jesus and the
love of the King.
